The Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) is a non-profit, self-governing, professional association of over 25,000 members.

OACETT is Ontario’s independent certifying body for engineering and applied science technicians and technologists and confers the designations C.Tech. (Certified Technician) and C.E.T. (Certified Engineering Technologist). These designations are recognized across Canada by employers and other engineering professionals. The A.Sc.T. (Applied Science Technologist) designation is no longer conferred but is still used by some OACETT members.

CSC (Construction Specifications Canada)  is a national multi-disciplinary, non-profit association with chapters across Canada.  CSC is committed to delivering progressive education, certification, publications and professional networking opportunities for the design + construction community.

The Gold Seal Certification program was created by the industry for the industry. It has quickly become a standardized program supporting the development of skilled and serious Construction & Heavy Civil management professionals across Canada. Already in 2015 Gold Seal Certification passed the 10,000 certificate holder mark!

The Gold Seal Certification program upholds Canadian Heavy Civil & Construction management professionals to expectations and standards of excellence. All Gold Seal certified management professionals have been assessed and meet the Gold Seal standard requirements of industry knowledge, experience, education and training. Gold Seal is a national construction standard of certification, displaying a desire to uphold and distinguish one’s competency in Construction or Heavy Civil management above all others.

RCI is the professional association for building envelope professionals operating in the roofing, waterproofing, and exterior wall disciplines.

RCI exists to support professionalism, ethical behaviour, education, career growth, and research in the building envelope consulting industry.

For over 30 years, the association’s Consultant Members have offered unbiased independent consulting services, including evaluation, design and specification writing, repair planning, asset management, quality observation and expert testimony.

 

CRCA leads the Canadian roofing industry, advancing the success of roofing contractors through technical expertise, standards of practice, and collaboration with industry partners.

CRCA consists of companies actively engaged in Canada in the roofing and related sheet metal contracting business, along with companies engaged in manufacturing or supplying materials and services used in any branch of the roofing and sheet metal industry.

CCI Golden Horseshoe Chapter has been actively promoting condominium living in the Golden Horseshoe area for 30 years.
CCI provides members with a variety of valuable services such as: courses, seminars, quarterly issues of the “Condo News” and a web site to answer general questions on condominium affairs. They represent the condominium community at the municipal and provincial levels of government when required. Currently, membership includes condominium corporations, unit owners, professionals and trades throughout the Golden Horseshoe and surrounding area.

The Hamilton-Halton Construction Association (HHCA) is a non-profit organization serving 300 members, primarily builders and related professionals, who are actively engaged in the industrial, commercial and institutional construction industry within the region. Since 1920, the HHCA has promoted excellence in structures and safety for commercial and industrial enterprises. The HHCA sponsors the Regional Construction Safety Group which is currently comprised of over 75 member firms from the construction sector.
